Training for adult trainers

DISINFOCRACY: Disinformation, Manipulation & Critical Thinking

The word Disinfocracy is inspired by the Spanish concept “Bulocracia”, a blend of bulo (hoax) and democracia (democracy), describing how misinformation can become a form of power that shapes opinions, divides societies, and undermines critical thinking.

This 4-day training course helps adult educators and trainers strengthen their media literacy and develop innovative methods to teach critical thinking and responsible communication in adult learning contexts.

Participants will explore how misinformation spreads, how emotions influence beliefs, and how technology can both connect and deceive us.

By combining experiential learning with digital tools and creative collaboration, educators will learn how to design sessions that motivate adults to think for themselves, ask questions and verify information independently.
