TALKaCtive: communicating better in a digital world

Today we communicate more than ever, but not always better.

Social media, video games and digital environments influence how we speak, write and understand others. This can be positive, but it can also limit vocabulary, lead to misunderstandings or make it difficult to express ideas and emotions. For many young people—especially those who have left school or have fewer opportunities—these difficulties affect both their personal lives and their educational and employment options.

What does TALKaCtive offer?

TALKaCtive is a European project designed to help young people and professionals who work with them to improve their communication skills. It combines communication and language with critical thinking, media literacy and social participation. The aim is to strengthen the ability to express ideas clearly, debate, analyse information and navigate digital and face-to-face environments with ease.

The project will develop practical, interactive resources with a playful approach: training materials, game-based activities, dynamics to improve expression and debate, and content to better understand digital communication and its risks. In addition, young people and youth workers will actively participate in the design of these resources, ensuring that they are useful, up-to-date and relevant to their reality.
