Digital skills and computational thinking are concepts that are gaining momentum in our society and will be essential skills in the future.
Therefore, we are developing, together with colleagues from Poland, Bulgaria and Greece, the Computational Thinking for Education Online project.
In November of this year we held our third meeting in our offices in Bilbao and, after this meeting, we can inform you that the first result is now available, the manual “Computational Thinking Model for Online Education“. It is a methodological guide for teachers and trainers of all fields and specialities, designed for those who want to introduce this learning model in the classroom.
In this Handbook you will find from the most basic concepts of Computational Thinking (definition, methodology, techniques, etc.) to practical applications thanks to easily accessible software (e.g. Scratch, AgentCube, Kodu or Greenfoot, NetLogo…), examples of good practices and other online resources. It is also available in English, Bulgarian, Greek, Polish and Spanish.
There are no excuses not to start using computational thinking in class! Download the Spanish or English version by clicking on the download button.
